About Product
HMPS stands for hollow metal pressed steel. The door skins are cold-pressed from CR steel sheet into a profiled panel, assembled around an internal steel framework and filled with an insulating core. Pressing to a die rather than fabricating by hand gives a flatter face and tighter dimensional tolerance, so the leaf hangs square and the set installs without on-site adjustment.
These are non-fire-rated door sets, specified for durability rather than compartmentation. They go where a door is opened hundreds of times a day and still has to latch: plant and electrical rooms, corridors, risers, service areas, warehouse offices and back-of-house routes. Where an opening needs a rating, it is specified as a certified fire door instead.
Aurotoshi builds the set in single and double leaf on a common rebated frame profile. Single leaf covers standard-width doorways. Double leaf pairs an active leaf with a semi-fixed secondary leaf for wide openings, main exit routes and any route carrying trolleys, pallets or equipment. Both share the same shutter construction and hardware set, so a building runs one profile throughout.
Features
Helps maintain indoor temperature and improve energy efficiency.
46 mm double-skin shell from two galvanised steel sheets, lock-seam jointed at the stile edges, with proprietary insulation infill and additional reinforcement at every hinge, lock and closer position.
The frame is pressed from sheet steel with a rebated profile that seats the leaf square and takes the closing impact on the frame rather than on the latch, so alignment holds through repeated slamming instead of drifting out.
A welded galvanised steel leaf holds its dimension through humidity swings, so the gap around the leaf stays constant and the door keeps latching and seating against its closer.
Shutter and frame carry a corrosion-resistant coated finish specified for Indian site conditions, including wash-down areas and plant corridors where a painted timber door blisters and untreated steel rusts out at the edges first.
Hinges, closers and locksets are specified from branded ranges rather than unbranded fittings, because hardware, not the leaf, is what fails first on a door cycling hundreds of times a day — and branded parts can be replaced from stock without changing the door.
The same opening takes a 1 hr or 2 hr rated set — 100 × 50 mm single rebate frame in 18 gauge, or 143 × 57 mm double rebate in 16 gauge — tested to IS 3614 Part 2 and BS 476 Part 22.

Models & Specifications
Choose from our range of high performance variants tailored to your specific facility requirements.
One hinged pressed-steel leaf in a rebated steel frame, for openings a single person passes through. The default choice for corridors, offices, electrical and plant rooms, risers and service areas, where the opening is standard width and the door is opened by hand many times a day.
Two hinged pressed-steel leaves in a common rebated frame, usually an active leaf with a semi-fixed secondary leaf. Specified where the opening is too wide for one leaf, where trolleys, pallets or equipment have to pass, or where an exit route needs full opening width under load.
