Managing a global FMCG distribution network is a high-pressure job where even a ten-minute delay at the loading bay can lead to thousands of rupees in losses. When HUL planned two large-scale centres in North India, the "Hard Part" wasn't just the number of units, but the timeline. Most vendors needed six to eight months for a project of this size, but the facility had to be operational much faster. Aurotoshi stepped in as the Indian OEM and delivered the full scope, 82 Industrial shutters, 60 dock levellers, fire-rated doors, and entrance gates, within a record four-month window. We achieved this because we didn't have to wait for overseas shipments. Everything was designed and manufactured at our Ghaziabad units. By controlling the production floor, we eliminated the coordination gaps that usually happen when using multiple traders. This single-source execution ensured that 269 critical points were ready for the first truck to arrive on schedule.
The technical challenge for this project was the sheer volume of truck movement. The bays were designed to handle 700 to 800 truck movements daily. This meant our dock levellers had to be more than just "strong"; they had to be resilient. We supplied CE-certified dock levellers, tested by TÜV Nord to handle dynamic loads exceeding 12 tonnes. For the high-traffic entrance, we installed motorized gates that could handle heavy-duty duty cycles without heating up or slowing down.

If a door had a minor issue during the morning rush, our 24/7 service team was available to ensure the loading process never stopped.
