An ABC gate is a self-service border gate that checks a traveller's passport, boarding pass or biometric and opens for cleared travellers, without a manned booth. Aurotoshi makes two models, the ABC3610 and the ABC700, both used at airport immigration and border posts.
Both models use a mantrap design and IR sensors, up to 23 pairs on the ABC3610, so only one cleared traveller passes per cycle. Anti-tailgating and anti-pass-back are standard, and the gate alerts staff if a second person tries to follow.
The gate reads passports and boarding passes and supports biometric checks. Optional readers include RFID, fingerprint, QR, face scan, iris and Morpho, so the gate can match a project's border-control requirement.
The ABC3610 is the larger e-boarding gate at 2800 mm with 23 IR sensor pairs. The ABC700 is a more compact model at 2400 mm. Both are swing-type mantrap gates with the same throughput, drive and certification.
Both models handle 20 to 25 travellers per minute, with an opening and closing time under 1.0 second and a quiet servo drive.
